Our Story
Built on Repairs That Actually Lasted
Authorize Repair Center began as a small television workshop in Kathmandu. Word spread
for a simple reason — the repairs held. Customers who came once sent their neighbours,
then their relatives, then their offices.
As homes filled with more appliances, so did our workbench. Refrigerators,
washing machines and microwave ovens joined the televisions, and we trained our team on
each new generation of models rather than turning the work away.
Today we run a full service centre in Samakhusi with technicians who go out to homes
across the valley every day — and a workshop for the board-level jobs that need proper
equipment. What has not changed is the standard: diagnose honestly, quote before
starting, and stand behind the work.
From One Workbench to a Full Service Centre
2010
A television workshop opens
One bench, one soldering station, and CRT and early LCD panels coming in from
neighbours and local shops. Every repair was done by hand, at component level.
2014
Refrigerators and washing machines join
Customers kept asking. We invested in gas charging equipment, vacuum pumps and proper
diagnostic tools, and sent the team for brand training rather than learning on
customers’ appliances.
2018
Doorstep service launches
Hauling a fridge across Kathmandu made no sense. We built a mobile team carrying the
common spare parts, so most repairs could be finished in the customer’s own kitchen.
2022
Authorised multi-brand service
Formal service partnerships and genuine parts supply for the major brands, plus a
written warranty on every repair we carry out.
